Welcome!

Welcome to first grade!!! We have one week of first grade under our belts, it's gone by so fast. We have been extremely busy learning about each other, learning new rules and procedures, learning about numbers and graphs, writing in journals, etc. It has been quite exciting!

Field trip to Recyclery and Landfill

Group project

The kids have begun working on a project for the planner. As a group, they will be putting together a poster with illustrations/pictures of facts they have learned during the course of the final planner for the school year. They selected a planner book from our classroom library and a classmate, or two, from their table with whom to work.

Field Day with Nathan's Nature Explorers

I want to thank Mr. Setiabudi (Peter's dad) for sharing all the great photos he took during our Field Day events! He took tons of great pictures.

What are the effects of oil on our feathered friends?

Trying to clean up the feather with water to see if it works.

It's nice and clean and now, after we used the dishwashing soap.

It's smooth now, the soap worked!
