Language Arts: we will work on the short a sound, final -ck, and high frequency words. The Spelling list from now on will consist of 1o words: 8 words that follow the rule(s) for the week and 2 HFWs. There will also be 2 optional Bonus Words. Spelling tests will be given each Friday morning.
Math: we will work on numbers to 20 and on the hundreds chart
Social Studies: this week we will focus on sequencing and on past/present/future; look for a fun homework assignment on Monday.
PYP: We are wrapping up the Who We Are planner. We will continue reviewing the PYP profile and attitudes and the Choose-Act-Reflect cycle.
