Math: we will be working on Fact Families and Doubles to 18
Language Arts: this week we will work on comparative endings -er and -est and -dge pattern as in pledge. We will focus on drawing conclusions in Reading
Social Studies: We will discuss "voting as an important method of showing the will of the people in a democratic society" and how we have voted in class to make decisions like our Field Name and our class vote for the Car Pool lane naming. We will also be reviewing maps and landforms in stations
Planner: we are getting close to the end of our inquiry into Matter. I have heard from many of you about the kids wanting to duplicate and/or expand on the classroom experiments, they loved the butter! We have a couple more fun ones to go
Field Day: thank you to all who came and helped, cheered, and brought/coordinated/donated snacks, drinks, and lunch!!!
